Artistes et \u00e9crivains trouvent l\u00e0 une source d\u2019inspiration exotique in\u00e9puisable.<\/p>\n<p>Un orient fantasm\u00e9 se trouve par exemple dans le bourgeois gentilhomme de Moli\u00e8re (1670). La premi\u00e8re traduction fran\u00e7aise des \u00ab\u00a0Mille et une nuits\u00a0\u00bb date de 1704, sans illustration puis avec des illustrations occidentales bien entendu pour les \u00e9ditions suivantes. Il d\u00e9signe la mani\u00e8re dont l\u2019Orient est vu par l\u2019Occident, le regard que porte sur les paysages et les \u00eatres l\u2019occidental imaginant l\u2019orient. Bien loin de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9\u2026 Litt\u00e9rature, peinture, musique, photographie, architecture, toute la production artistique du 19<span><sup>e<\/sup><\/span> est teint\u00e9e d\u2019influence orientale, dans une vision romantique, inspir\u00e9e essentiellement par l\u2019Espagne, l\u2019Inde, la Turquie et<span> <\/span>les pays du Maghreb. <br \/>Sur les boulevards parisiens, les caf\u00e9s turcs sont nombreux et les bals publics sont d\u00e9cor\u00e9s dans le style mauresque. Les expositions universelles proposent des \u00e9chapp\u00e9es faciles vers des contr\u00e9es exotiques. Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments d\u00e9coratifs orientaux se retrouvent dans les maisons priv\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/13_LIllustration___journal_universel__1867.jpeg\" alt=\"Chapelle Sainte-Anne Saint-Quay-Portrieux\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<h6><i>l\u2019illustration 2 mars 1867 \u2013 quartier turc \u2013 Gallica<\/i><\/h6>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Vers le milieu du 19<span><sup>e<\/sup><\/span> si\u00e8cle, de vrais amoureux de l\u2019Orient s\u2019y rendent pour de longs voyages <span>rendus plus ais\u00e9s par les progr\u00e8s des transports<\/span>. Au fil des ans et des propri\u00e9taires, elles survivent difficilement. Les parcs sont divis\u00e9s, de nombreuses villas sont transform\u00e9es en h\u00f4tels ou d\u00e9molies.<\/p>\n<p>Sur la c\u00f4te bretonne, on trouve peu d\u2019exemples de cette vogue de l\u2018architecture orientaliste.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le \u00ab\u00a0pavillon du prince de Galles\u00a0\u00bb command\u00e9 par le futur Edouard VII, pour figurer \u00e0 l\u2019exposition universelle de 1878 \u00e0 Paris et y repr\u00e9senter les Indes, comprenait deux parties dont l\u2019une fut vendue \u00e0 la station baln\u00e9aire de Param\u00e9 pour y \u00eatre install\u00e9 sur la digue en 1881 et lou\u00e9e comme maison de vill\u00e9giature. Elle fut d\u00e9truite par une temp\u00eate vers 1905.
